Eghospitals.com Project Manager, Social Accountability Specialist and Ashoka Fellow
Daniel is a medical doctor and consultant for social accountability and community mobilization. He works with an international team on research and development of tools to enhance the quality and accessibility components of the right to health.
Daniel is the Project Manager for the Eghospitals.com, an award-winning community monitoring portal for the quality of healthcare service provision in Egyptian hospitals. This project disruptively mobilizes local community members in becoming the agents of change in the improvement of hospital services, a bold step towards transparency and accountability in the country’s health sector.
In 2016, Daniel was elected as Ashoka fellow.
