Delta region is a very dense region in terms of population and number of hospitals which make it a very challenging region.
On the 14th of October, 2016, we formed our first team in the Delta region. In Gharbeya governorate specifically in Mahala, we held our first training in the region, training 30 diverse local community member on the hospital’s assessment tool.
The diversity of the trained assessors was very impressive to us. The group included nurses, doctors, students but also accountants, government employees, cooks, labor workers, journalists, NGO workers and other professions.
